Privacy Policy
Lucionus ("Lucionus," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Visionize LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company doing business as Lucionus. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and the related services for browsing, previewing, and purchasing beats and beat licenses (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account information (name, email address, optional username) when you create an account or place an order;
- Buyer information at checkout (legal name, billing email, billing address, optional artist or company name) for use on the license certificate;
- Communications you send us (support requests, refund requests, contact-form messages).
1.2 Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser and device information, and approximate geographic location;
- Usage and interaction logs (pages viewed, beats previewed, search terms);
- Cookies and similar technologies, as described in Section 6.
2. Payment information
Visionize LLC does not store full credit-card numbers, debit-card numbers, or bank-account credentials. We use Stripe as our payment processor. When you purchase a license, your payment details are submitted directly to Stripe and processed by Stripe under its own privacy policy. We receive only the limited transaction metadata Stripe returns to us (such as the last four digits of the card, the cardholder name, billing country, and a transaction identifier).
3. How we use your information
- To deliver beats, license certificates, and order confirmations;
- To create and manage your account and order history;
- To process payments, refunds, and chargebacks;
- To send service-related communications (receipts, license updates, security notices);
- To send marketing communications about new beats, sales, or releases — only if you have opted in, and you can opt out at any time;
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and license violations;
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. How we share your information
We share information only as needed to operate the Service, including:
- Payment processors (Stripe) for processing your purchase and any refund;
- Service providers we use for hosting, content delivery, email delivery, and analytics, under contractual obligations consistent with this Policy;
- Legal compliance: if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Visionize LLC or others;
- Business transfer: if Visionize LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their independent advertising purposes.
5. License certificates
When you purchase a license, the license certificate we issue includes the buyer name and email you provide at checkout, the beat title, the license tier, the purchase date, and a unique order identifier. We retain this record for our own legal, tax, and rights-management purposes. The certificate itself is shared only with you and the payment processor.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to:
- Keep you signed in and remember preferences;
- Operate the cart and checkout flow;
- Measure traffic and feature usage to improve the Service;
- Detect and prevent fraud.
The current Lucionus storefront does not load third-party advertising or marketing tracking cookies. The cookies and local-storage keys we set are listed below.
6.1 Cookie / local-storage inventory
- lucionus.cookie-consent — local storage. Records your accept/decline decision on the consent banner. Indefinite (until you clear browser storage).
- lucionus_api_base — local storage. Stores the API base URL for the storefront. Indefinite.
- Lucionus session — local storage / cookie set by our auth provider after login. Used to keep you signed in. Cleared on logout or expiry.
- Cart state — local storage. The list of license selections you've added to your cart. Cleared after checkout or by you.
- Player preferences — local storage. Remembers volume / mute / last played track. Indefinite.
- Stripe — third-party cookies set by stripe.com on the checkout page only, used for fraud detection and to keep your payment session active. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
- Firebase Auth — third-party cookies / local-storage entries set by Google's Firebase Authentication service when you log in. Used to maintain your authenticated session. Subject to Firebase's privacy policy.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may prevent parts of the Service (such as checkout, login, or cart) from functioning. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, this inventory will be updated and the consent banner will gate them behind your explicit consent.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. License-purchase records, including the buyer name on the certificate, are retained for at least the period required to defend the licensed-rights chain (typically a minimum of seven years).
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to lawful exceptions (for example, we generally cannot delete the buyer-name field on an issued license certificate, because it is part of the licensed-rights record);
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications;
- Receive a portable copy of your account data.
To exercise these rights, contact us at chandrachudgowda@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
9. Data security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
10. International data transfers
Visionize LLC is based in the United States, and information you submit to the Service is processed and stored in the United States and in the regions of our service providers. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised Policy is effective when posted on this page. If the changes are material, we will provide additional notice (for example, by email or by a notice on the Service).
